The Last Stand was announced at the end of August via a short teaser showcasing a familiar environment from an eponymous community-created survival map for the original Left 4 Dead. After being briefly teased back in August, the update has finally received proper details and a release date. Left 4 Dead 2 is about to receive its first content update in eight years, a massive community-developed campaign The Last Stand.
